Louie and Barb's Story...
Louie and Barb Reindel were born and raised in rural northwest Ohio. They are a perfectly matched couple that met and married at an early age. They were joined as one with the intention of continuing to grow as a farm couple. As their family grew, so did their faith which eventually led to a call to ministry. Leaving all, they left farming to serve as only God can direct. More recently, Louie and Barb entered another season of life which has allowed them to return to country living. With that they relocated to southwestern Ohio, having acquired a small farm with movement towards becoming self-sufficient. With a vision of becoming more and more of a reality. Part of that reality now includes raising and selling purebred KIKO goats.
How We Care For Our Livestock
Located north of Hamilton Ohio, at Solid Rock Kikos, our goal, as much as is possible, is to care for our goats in a way that allows them to thrive in spaces that they can do what goats like to do; munch on the leaves of Honeysuckle (an invasive species tree-like shrub) and to climb, explore and lay around while resting.

Solid Rock Kikos are raised on a 49-acre homestead located in Butler County, Ohio. Strict attention is given to consistently meeting the goats’ specific needs which includes providing proper shelter, nutrition, access to clean water, and grazing opportunities. Close monitoring to ensure their overall health and consultation with exceptional breeders/mentors has
resulted in a herd that is healthy and strong.
Louie and Barb’s stock is quality. Their foundational stock is purebred and registered with the National Kiko Registry.
